Summer Solstice Projects 2009

I have a few new projects rolling on the car. First, very simple map and trunk light upgrades to very bright red LEDs. I also have a few led strands awaiting installation in each passenger and driver footwell, for better night visibility. Bought an expansion 3x 12V DC + USB power port to install next to the passenger seat. Seems I never have enough plugs–cell phones, iPod, and whatever else creeps onto a ride. I’ve got some underhood hose wraps and flex loom (to neaten up the appearance) coming in the mail.

Car Care and Cosmetics

I’m just about finished with my winter car projects. I added a little weatherstrip and had the hood realigned by the dealer. I added backup light louvers. I also painted the fusebox and battery covers in red “Krylon Fusion” plastic paint, accented with some black chrome metallic. Everything turned out very well, it took very little expense and plenty of elbow grease.

2008 Pontiac Solstice GXP Gallery

Dan Bauer has owned 2 Pontiac Solstices. This is the latest, the turbocharged .

Dan’s Official Disclaimer: In no way am I indicating I changed anything on my car from stock, even if it really looks that way.

Oddly enough, if I did change anything to my vehicle, it would look strangely like some of the pictures below.

Here’s a list of my (of course) hypothetical projects:
