Zero Percent Financing, or How I Ended up with Another New Solstice
I guess General Motors had a bad year. As a result, they threw down a promotion for zero percent financing for one week only. As I worked the math in my head, I lost some depreciation in my ‘06. But new car, new warranty, and other perks like turbo, better suspension and cat back exhaust and I caught the fever.
Three days of negotiating at Husker Auto later, I…almost have…a new car. The car is being shipped up from Kansas and will have to have the exhaust installed and some other minor modifications. Oddly enough the new license plates should be here today too. H4CK3R. Guess I don’t have to worry about naming this new car.
I’ve already ordered a fold-back license plate holder for the front. I never liked how the dealer-installed one covered up the grill. Also picked up some caliper paint, some decals for the calipers, and wheel centers too. Should be a pretty nice looking car right out of the box. Deliver me the darn thing already!
