I always pack a book, a frisbee (my border collie is on many of my trips, so I have a little food, soft-sided bowls etc. for him, too). Other very popular items for me to bring are set of 'shoes, bocce balls, and sometimes...a sailboat. It's great to camp near the water, as I love to sail.
